My preliminary search indicates that "The Mall" is available in hardcover on Amazon, but that I would have to get "Deadlands" shipped from SA. And rated it highly with "Zoo City." Rumors have it that she is working on 3 more novels, some further developed than others. It's really great to see a few South African authors breaking through into the sf/f field with really decent writing equally at home outside the genre. There is the YA novel "Deadlands" (featuring zombies in and around Cape Town) by Lilly Herne (pseudonym for a mother and daughter writing team)and S.L.
